It is one of our major issues to develop human resources in the film industry. In 2003, New Cinema Network was launched in Korea. Receiving the support from Jeollabuk-do and the Korean Film Industry Committee (KOFIC), it has worked hard to recover the art of film by using the new digital tools in production. It now hopes to widen its activity to other Asian countries including China and Japan. By taking part in the SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL 2007, it aims to build a network of people taking part in films not only from Japan but also from Asia.
