This section is dedicated to bring you the latest in digital cinema. The digitalization of TV broadcasting system is under way, and many films have been digitally remastered in recent years. This year, we present a 4K digitally restored version of Akira Kurosawa's ageless masterpiece Rashomon. The winner of Golden Lion at 1951 Venice International Film Festival, Rashomon moved the audience all over the world. With the cooperation of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the picture and the sound have been restored to the highest technical level. The landmark of Japanese cinema is reborn with digital technology a half a century after the initial release. Enjoy the superior image of 4K digital projections.
