Ibrahim has left his village and his family to try his luck in Teheran. In this urban jungle where everything can be bought and sold, the dream can turn into a nightmare. Soon Ibrahim finds himself involved in trafficking of newborn babies and he is forced to go deep into the slums of the city.

Nader T. Homayoun
Born 1968 in Paris, Homayoun studied film directing at La Femis in Paris. His short film, C'est pour bientôt (2000), was selected for Venice Film Festival. In 2005 he directed a documentary film, Iran: A Cinematographic Revolution (2006), which was broadcast on ARTE and screened at several international film festivals including Toronto and Hong Kong. His first feature film, Tehroun (2009), won the International Critics' Week Award at Venice Film Festival, the Grand Jury Prize at the Festival Premiers Plans in Angers 2010, and the New Talent Prize at Fribourg International Film Festival.
