Feature Length Competition (International)
Feature length films over 70 minutes shot with a digital camera by directors with less than 3 feature film credit from all over the world will compete for the Grand Prize.
Starting this year, the competition will be divided into two categories; World Cinema and Japanese Cinema. This year, we have received the highest number of submission: 494 entries from 81 countries and regions. Among them, 12 films have been selected and will be screened. Join us at SKIP City and experience digital cinema all over the world.

※SKIP City Award is given to the Japanese filmmaker who has the possibility to make a feature length film in future.
Short Length Competition (Domestic)
Short Length Competition (Domestic) will focus on shorts completed in 2010 and 2011 by the next generation of filmmakers. Starting last year, the accepted length is set at more than 15 minutes and less than 30 minutes. This year, 12 films are nominated out of 189 submissions.
