In 1930, the First World Football Championship is held in Montevideo, Uruguay. While European teams cancel their participation due to a long voyage on ship, a team from Belgrade, former Republic of Yugoslavia gets a chance to participate.

Graduating in acting from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade, Bjelogrlic acted in more than 50 films, about 20 TV series and 14 theatre plays. He has won many domestic and international awards as actor, director and producer. His producing credits include Pretty Village, Pretty Flame (1996), The Wounds (1998), War Live (2000) and Small World (2003). His directorial debut feature Montevideo, Taste of a Dream (2010) was the biggest blockbuster in new Serbian history. He shot a sequel in 2014 entitled See You in Montevideo based on his own TV series Montevideo (2011-2014).
