Tour Screenings
To bring the excitement to a theater near you, tour screenings will be held in two additional locations in Saitama over two days (July 17 & 18) at Sai-no-kuni Saitama Art Theater and Kounosu Cinema. Opening Gala presentation of Good Bye, Talking Dog and 12 short films (4 programs) from the competition program will screen via satellite transmission. Please join us!
*Both venues will screen on Blu-Ray.
Opening Gala
Launched last year in order to discover and nurture emerging talent, the Opening Gala section screens feature films produced by the Festival Committee. For the second edition, the Opening Gala screening this year is Good Bye, Talking Dog by Madoka Kumagai. This touching film shows us how we can be truly free. Come and see the exciting feature debut film by Director Kumagai whose works have been nominated at numerous film festivals including ours.
