Shogo Tomiyama(Japan)
Secretary General, Japan Academy Prize Association
Started his career at Toho in 1975, Tomiyama had promoted over 30 films, such as Kagemusha directed by Akira Kurosawa. In 1983, he became a producer in Toho Pictures, which is the studio/production division of Toho. From 2004 to 2010, he was the president of Toho Pictures. He produced over 30 films including 12 Godzilla films series after Godzilla vs. Biollante, Young Girls in Love, Abduction and Red Moon, which won many awards in Japan Academy Prize. Since 2004, he has been the Secretary-General of Japan Academy Prize Association.

Yoshitaka Ishizuka(Japan)
Film Producer, Shochiku Co., Ltd.
Born 1969 in Tottori, Ishizuka joined Shochiku in 2003. His producing credits include Helen the Baby Fox (2006), Kitaro (2007), 7 days of Himawari & Her Puppies (2012), and Dawn of a Filmmaker: The Keisuke Kinoshita Story (2013). Masato Harada’s Chronicle of My Mother (2011) won the Special Grand Prize of the Jury at Montréal World Film Festival, the Fujimoto Award, and was nominated for 12 categories at the Japan Academy Prize. His new film Bushi no kondate is set to open in December this year.

Cedomir Kolar(France)
Film Producer
Cedomir Kolar was born in former Yugoslavia. He graduated in film production at the Belgrade Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since 1991, he has been acting as a producer for Noé Productions in Paris. His credits include Before the Rain by Milcho Manchevski, Africa my Africa and Kini and Adams by Idrissa Ouedraogo, As You Like Me by Carmine Amoroso, Train of Life by Radu Mihaileanu, The Adopted Son and The Chimp by Aktan Abdykalykov, No Man’s Land by Danis Tanovic and Danis Tanovic’s short film in the collection of films 11’09”01, produced by Galatée films and StudioCanal. He won the Academy Award for Before the Rain.

John Badalu(Indonesia)
Film Producer
John Badalu has been involved in film programming for film festivals such as Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, Traffic Film Festival (Brazil). He is the Festival Delegate for Berlin Film Festival and Shanghai International Film Festival for Southeast Asia region. He has served on the jury of the Berlin Film Festival and Bangkok International Film Festival. He has co-produced 3 feature films, Parts Of The Heart (2012), Peculiar Vacation and Other Illnesses (2012), and What They Don't Talk About When They Talk About Love (2013). He is now developing film projects from Japan, Spain and Indonesia.

Shoji Masui

While working as a producer at Daiei, Masui Produced Sumo Do, Sumo Don’t (1989). In 1993, Masui founded Altamira Pictures with Masayuki Suo and Itsumichi Isomura. Since then, he prodeuced Shall We Dance? (1996), Give It All (1998), Waterboys (2001), Swing Girls (2004), Happy Flight (2008), Robo-G (2012) and A Terminal Trust (2012) as well as documentaries such as Takada Wataru Teki (2004), Komadori Shimai ga Yattekuru (2009), and Dancing Chaplin (2011). His latest is Maiko wa lady, a new film by Masayuki Suo to open theatrically in 2014.

Born 1954 in Kumamoto, Yamagami established a production company Siglo in 1986. His producing credits include John Junkerman’s The Old Man and the East China Sea (1993), Yoichi Higashi’s The River with No Bridge (1992), Village of Dreams (1996), Ryosuke Hashiguchi’s Hush! (2001), Makoto Sato’s Edward Saïd – Out of Place (2006), Nobuhiro Yamashita’s The Matsugane Potshot Affair (2006), Masako Sakata’s Agent Orange -a personal requiem- (2008), Ryosuke Hashiguchi’s All Around Us (2008), Yuichi Kimura’s Counterfeit (2009), Yoichi Higashi’s Wandering Home (2010), and Yuka Sekiguchi’s Mainichi ga Alzheimer (2012). He has produced over 80 features and documentaries and won many awards all over the world.

After working in various production companies and video labels, Sone is currently a producer in an entertainment division at PARCO. Her producing credits include Hideaki Hosono’s Dumbeast (2011), Yuya Ishii’s Mitsuko Delivers, and Blankey Jet City: Vanishing Point (2013), a music documentary. She also served as a consultant for Sakurada Gate Incident (2010).
