Director/Shingo Soezima Born in Nagasaki, Soezima graduated from Osaka University of Arts. Between 1999 and 2006, he appeared on many TV programs and stage as a member of Akaoni Theatrical Troupe, a Kansai based popular theater group. He also produces his own stage shows and promotional videos including “Honki de neco ni osowarete mita” which became an international YouTube sensation. |

Director/Naoya Yamaguchi Born 1989 in Nagoya, Yamaguchi enrolled in the design department at the Tokyo University of the Arts. However, realizing his lack of talent and passion for painting, he decided to give up and instead pursue filmmaking. Shinigami is his first live action short film. |

Director/Satoru Tezuka Born 1983 in Yamanashi. Being a fervent admirer of Jackie Chan, Tezuka began making films with his grade school friends. He studied filmmaking at Enbu Seminar and started directing short films. His last short Last Morning screened at SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL 2009 and other domestic festivals. |
