This is the time when life of married women was severely constrained. As a factory worker, obedient wife and mother of the family, Tsuyako lives a tough life. When Yoshie appears, a feeling that was locked up inside her begins to crawl back.
Director/Mitsuyo Miyazaki Born in Osaka, Miyazaki studied music and theater from her early age and went to the US at the age of eighteen. After receiving Bachelor of Arts degree on theater, dance, and art, she started working as an actress and a photographer. She enrolled at the USC School of Cinematic Arts and worked on film productions as a director, a cinematographer, and a producer. Her films have been nominated at Coca-Cola Refreshing Student Filmmaker's Award and a short documentary competition hosted by Cisco Systems. |

Sachi is a high school girl who lives in down town Tokyo of Kyojima in Sumida City. After school while shopping at a store, she finds Kani-chan Cosmetics and slips it into her pocket. Then the store owner shows up.

Director/Kota Yoshida Born 1978 in Tokyo, Yoshida dropped out of Waseda University and studied filmmaking at Enbu Seminar. After working as an assistant director, he joined a film production company Shaiker and directed films and TV drama including his first feature Yuriko’s Aroma and a short Coming with My Brother! |

An aging husband who is taking care of his sick wife realizes he
himself doesn’t have much time to live. He takes her to a lakeside where they once spent some time. They get on a rusty boat and row offshore.

Director/Bunji Sotoyama
Born 1980 in Fukuoka, Sotoyama studied directing at Japan Academy of Moving Image. His short screenplay Stardust Serenade won Grand Prize and Staff Award at the Isama Studio Film Festival 2005. Subsequently Sotoyama himself made it into a short film and it was awarded with Honorable Mention-Kawaguchi Citizen’s Award at SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTVAL in 2007 and Recommendation at Aomori Film Festival. He continues to work on freelance basis. |
