Jing is a deaf girl living in a town by Chang Jiang River in the Hunan District. Since the divorce of her parents, she has built a wall around her heart. Her father Haoyang wished to have a son and doesn’t love his daughter. He has a lover Mei, who leaves home seeking desperately for an ideal family.

Chen graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor degree in architecture in 2003, then he studied digital video production at the graduate school. He has long been committed to the production of contemporary arts, including animation, photography, experimental video etc. His works have been displayed and awarded in a number of arts exhibitions both at China and abroad. In 2010, he established Beijing Tiger Entertainment & Media CO.,LTD and started working on his first feature film Song of Silence (Yang Mei Zhou). After more than one year’s preparation, the film started shooting in June 2011 in Xiangtan of Hunan and completed in 2012.
