Before committing himself to an arranged marriage, Cemal goes on a bachelor trip to Ukraine and meets a beautiful Ukrainian, Sasha. While they search for her grandmother who ran away from the nursing home, they find themselves falling in love.

Gorbach studied filmmaking at National University of Theatre, Film and TV in Kiev and Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing. She directed several shorts including The Jar in 2004 and The Debt in 2006. She is the co-director with Mehmet Bahadir Er of their first feature film, Black Dogs Barking in 2009.

Bahadir Er graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine-Art Univercity in Turkey majoring in cinema and TV directing. In 2004, he founded Karakirmizi Film to produce short films that collected a total of 25 awards at film festivals. His first feature film, Black Dogs Barking, co-directed by Gorbach and supported by Turkish Ministry of Culture, premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2009 and screened at more than 40 international festivals.
