Born in Norway, Andresen directed the short film Mary (1999) and also directed the television series “The Boys” (TV Mini-Series/2006), which became the first Norwegian television series ever to be nominated for an Emmy Award. Andresen made his debut as a feature film director with the highly acclaimed youth comedy The Liverpool Goalie (2010). The film had its international premiere at the Berlin international Film Festival in 2011, where it won the Crystal Bear for Best Film in the Generation Kplus section. This is his third feature film.
