Wilson has been living as an African refugee in Hungary for years. He wants to acquire Hungarian citizenship, but keeps failing the exams. In preparing for the next exam, he is helped by Mari who is about to change his life.

Born in Hungary, Vranik has worked on various films as a production manager and assistant director in Hungary and the Netherlands. In 2000 he directed and wrote experimental short film Dominator 2000. The same year he worked as an assistant director on Werckmeister Harmonies (2000) by Béla Tarr. He also made some 30 spots and video clips before directing his first feature film Black Brush in 2005. This film is his third feature film.
