Born 1983 in Washington DC, Polonsky was raised In Israel where he directed, wrote and independently produced two shorts films Zipper (2008) and In Bed at 10PM (2010). He graduated from the American Film Institute Conservatory in the Directing Program and his thesis film Samnang (2013) premiered at New York Film Festival and won awards and screened at several film festivals internationally. This is his first feature film.
