Hayato works as a temp, and one day his wife Manami asks him to become a househusband. Manami is pregnant, but doesn’t want to give up the job she loves. Struggling with his pride, Hayato can’t decide what to do.

Satoko attempts to fight her empty existence with casual sex. She returns home due to her father’s illness and is reunited with her free spirited sister and her aloof mother. She also runs into Shudo, her high school boyfriend who is now a monk.

Born February 20th, 1987 in Tokyo, Arima graduated from the Japan Academy of Moving Images. He wrote and directed a three-minute class assignment Chichi no kao. This is his senior thesis film.
City of Silence

A local painter, whose distinguished style has made him very popular, lives in a small rural town. His inspiration was a homeless man he met when he was in junior high school. They communicated through paintings and developed a relationship.

Tsuda approached Takeshi Kitano at a café where he worked and made his debut with Sonatine in 1993. Now a veteran seasoned actor, Tsuda’s credits include Naoto Takenaka’s 119 (1994), Copycat Killer (2002) and Dolls (2002), which he won the Blue Ribbon Award for Best Supporting Actor, and many more. In 2012, he participated in Fukui Dream Art Project and directed this short film.
